Our school students participated in a marathon conducted by Dream Kalam, held at Sethu Bhaskara Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Ambattur, Chennai – 53. Five students from the Higher Secondary, along with one teacher, participated in the marathon.
Prizes were distributed to students of Classes VI to IX who participated in the Techno Fest – Project Day during the school assembly. Certificates and medals were presented to the students by the respective class teachers, AI teachers, and our respected Principal In-charge.
Road Safety Awareness Programme by Road Guru Trust, along with free helmet distribution sponsored by ICICI Lombard Insurance, CRS Fund in collaboration with Tax Society, was successfully conducted on 6.2.2026 at our school. The programme aimed to create awareness among the public (parents) about the importance of wearing helmets and following traffic rules to prevent road accidents. A speech was given by Mr. Senthil Kumar, Road Guru Trust. Jessian RSP club joined hands in helmet distribution.
The school organised an exciting trip to Rocksport – Asia largest adventure program at Mambakkam, Chennai. 228 students from classes I to V along with 14 class teachers and 5 Ayahs participated in the trip. It was a memorable experience that combined learning and venture and fun, encouraging students to stay active, work together and appreciate the beauty of nature.
The Valedictory ceremony for Std XII and Std V Boys was organised on 21st Feb 2026 at 9.00 am in the school auditorium. Rev. Dr. A. Ruben Jeyakumar, Presbyter in charge, CSI St. George’s Cathedral gave the special message and prayed and blessed the students. Mementoes and Exam timetable with Exam instructions were distributed to the students. The students lighted the candle and took the school pledge.
Farewell for the students of std XII was conducted on 21.2.2026 at 3.00 pm. One representative from each section gave the farewell speech. The students came in their traditional attire (Saree). Titles like Miss.Obedience, Miss. Humble, Miss. Extempore, Miss. Generous, Miss. Enthusiastic and Miss. Jessie Moses were given to the selected students. Teachers sang the farewell song and prayed for a bright future of the students.
Annual Kiddies Sports Day – 2025–26 with the theme “Trumpets & Triumphs” was held on Friday at 9.00 a.m. in our school premises. Dr. V. Raju, Diocesan Education Officer was our chief guest. The meet began with a colourful march past and a warm welcome was given to the chief guest and parents. All students from Lower Nursery to Std. II participated with excitement and sportsmanship. Prizes and certificates were distributed to the winners and participants.
Tamil Literary Council Silver Jubilee Celebration was held at the CSI Lite Auditorium. 10 tamil teachers from primary, high school & Hr. Sec participated in the program. V. H. Pooja of Std. VII C won the Second Prize in Drawing, and Andrea Jessica Allen of Std. X B won the Second Prize in Music.
Students from Classes III to IX witnessed a grand valedictory event of various club activities. The programme showcased the talents and achievements of students from different clubs.
Students presented their annual reports followed by their performances and displays. Each club had a photo session after the programme.
An awareness program for Anti Leprosy was conducted by Gremaltes Hospital. Special assembly was conducted for std VI to IX during which Dr. Sakkarayas, Physiotherapist and Mr. Johnson Ignatius, Health Education addressed the students about the causes, sign and symptoms and the treatment for Leprosy and it was insisted that early detection leds to quicker recovery.
Dhanya Shree .S of class VIII - participated in State Level Taekwondo - a martial art competition on 22nd January 2026 under 14 category and she won SILVER MEDAL
The students of class VIII were taken to witness an exhibition by the Department of Psychology on 7th January 2026 between 10.30 a.m and 12.30 p.m. The exhibition aimed at explaining complex psychological ideas such as learning, thinking, behaviour and observation. Three teachers accompanied 99 students to witness this exhibition held at D.G Vaishnav college, Arumbakkam.
One day trip to Space Zone India at Kelambakkam was organised for Std IX. Three teachers and a service staff accompanied 100 students to the venue. In this trip students got to know in detail about Rocket, Satellites, Space Science and Aero Space Technology through interactive demonstrations and innovative activities. Students were given certificates from Space Zone India.
Classes VI to VIII went on a one-day educational trip to the Sea Shell Museum, Mahabalipuram. A total of 211 students were escorted by 10 teachers and 2 service staff. The students had a memorable and enjoyable learning experience.
All the students enthusiastically viewed a huge variety of shells displayed in four different galleries. In addition to this, the students visited the Pearl Museum, Dinosaur Park, and Aquarium, where they gained valuable knowledge through a perfect blend of education, exploration, and entertainment.
Our School Republic Day celebration was held on January 24, 2026. Students from std VI - IX participated in the program. The programme begins with flag hoisting, the Principal In-charge Mrs. Carolyn Martin welcomed the gathering, the chief guest Mrs. latha Premkumar delivered the presidential address. The Correspondent Mrs. Shyamala Suresh addressed the students in the programme. This was followed by an entertainment and cultural programme.
Students were nominated by the Principal in-charge and Std. X, XI and XII handling teachers based on academic performance, extracurricular achievements, leadership qualities and discipline.
Techno Fest 2025 -26 - Al Project day was organised for classes I to IX. This project highlighted the Artificial Intelligence which was introduced during the year in the curriculum. Mr. K.S Shareen Balaji, founder BA Technology and Mr. S. Senthil Kumar, Dream shape of 3D were invited as judges for this project day where they took time and went around to each of the classes and visited the project displayed by the students.
Highlights of the project day were students LED technology innovations, Hand on Modals and Demonstrations and Creative solution and Futuristic ideas.
